1. Introduction
The Civil Society Network on Climate Change (CISONECC), in partnership with Circle for Integrated Community Development (CICOD) and the Catholic Development Commission in Malawi (CADECOM), are implementing a Climate and Disaster Risk Management Advocacy Project with financial support from Irish Aid through Trócaire. The project aims to strengthen the capacity of local communities, civil society organizations (CSOs), and key stakeholders to actively and meaningfully engage in disaster risk management (DRM) and climate resilience processes at local, district, and national levels.
1. Introduction
The Civil Society Network on Climate Change (CISONECC) is a membership-based organization for civil society organizations working in climate change, disaster risk and environmental management sector. The network exists to coordinate civil society organizations and influence a desired change in climate change, environment and disaster risk management-related policies, practices and attitudes through research, advocacy, model projects, networking and capacity building.
