Charles Emmanuel Stonken is the Programme Officer for “Climate Change Adaptation and Sustainable Energy CCASE Project”, at Civil Society Network On Climate Change (CISONECC) In Malawi. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture which I obtained from the University of Malawi, Bunda College of Agriculture in the year 2014.
Before joining CISONECC Charles has worked with chitakale Plantations Company limited in Mulanje, Malawi as a Division Manager from 2014 to 2016. In 2016 Charles Stonken Joined World vision as a Development Facilitator for Improved Forest Management for Sustainable Livelihoods Program in Machinga, Malawi which ended in 2018. In April, 2018 he was appointed to manage the Transforming Household Resilience in Vulnerable Environment THRIVE Project in Lilongwe, Malawi.
Charles has vast knowledge and skills project management, Agriculture, food security and natural resources management subject matter areas. Community engagement and advocacy. Networking and partnership development, community engagement and advocacy, capacity building and proposal development. He also has special knowledge in crop production technologies and management; Human Resources Management and Development; Entrepreneurship as well as Computer Applications.
